| I think you need to specify whether you're talking about the city alone, or its metropolitan area. I note that you've left off some countries (like Sri Lanka and Gambia) where the capital is part of the largest metropolitan area, but isn't the actual largest city.
According to this published Sporcle quiz (http://www.sporcle.com/games/eupopulouscities.php), Italy, Germany, and Poland should all be listed here (though I know CityMayors is a questionable source). They should perhaps be bonus answers at least? Or, again, if you specified that you're working with the population of only the city (rather than the metro area), then this would be clear (CityMayors lists metro areas).
Tanzania absolutely should be on this list, since Dodoma is not part of the metro area of Dar es Salaam. Your wikipedia source also lists Malawi and Swaziland (though the wikipedia article for Swaziland contradicts it placement on the list). Finally, if you're calling the country "Myanmar," then you should call its largest city "Yangon." |
