Guessing you're an orchestral player, + not a singing/opera fan? :-P Awesome quiz - but would probably be better as "guess in order", since as it stands it's a bit to tempting to just guess random notable composers and hope you've included them...

I am an instrumentalist, correct. I'm saving vocal pieces for a followup quiz. Good call on the guess in order part. Glad you like it!

Cello? Nimrod warms the cockles of my heart by the way

Nope, not cello. Enigma Variations is one of the prettier pieces in the repertoire that's for sure.

Very frustrating. I can't see any reason at all for requiring answers to be given in order.

I make you answer in order because otherwise you could just guess random notable composers (as Pit_trout suggested above). This way you have to recognize the piece. You can always click into a different box or hit next to move on to another clip.

Top marks for including the Khachaturian, especially as you're a brass player! Good work!

Great selection! Sadly, I have only played 10 of these selections so far. Oh, and I loved how you only have to include four notes for Nimrod. :)

Pretty good, my biggest problem was remembering some of the spellings since a few of them are a bit more difficult to spell LOL. But being a brass player myself as well helped .... Guessed Mahler 5 almost right away. I love some good Mahler ( especially #2 )
