In addition to Russell's 11 titles, he's also won 2 NCAA Titles and a Gold Medal - go C's

Wow...that was a lot harder than I thought it would be. My memory of the Celtics back then is terrible.

Interesting fact: the only player ever to win 4 NBA championships without playing for the Celtics, Lakers, or Bulls? Tim Duncan.

I got Ron Harper, Kurt Rambis, and John Salley; before giving up, I ran through the recent three-peat Lakers; and I missed Kobe Bryant. And that, my friends, is my fail moment of the day.

@jmisho: Bird has three rings with the Celtics. Chamberlain won one with the Warriors and one with the Lakers.

I would have thought Dennis Rodman as that Pistons/Bulls/Lakers player.

Argh. No matter how many of these quizzes I take, I still cannot learn to spell Havlicek.

I love seeing all my favorite players on the list. I was always the only little girl who'd much rather sit home and watch a basketball game than go shopping at the mall.

I don't feel bad about most of the names I missed. I've never heard of half those old celtics players. I do feel bad about missing Cooper, Salley, Parish and Grant. Who could forget those rec specs.

there was a 10 year stretch from 1994 to 2003 in which either robert horry or steve kerr won an nba championship. not even the magic johnson/larry bird rivalry can match that stat.

I absolutely love this quiz. I did alright (18), but more importantly, it was just incredibly cool. Great idea, whoever thought of this one.

Will Perdue for two! Luc Longley! Just dunk the ball. Never has a championship team's centers been so unathletic and had so many layups stuffed back in their face.

@Brad: 1997. Parish was 43 years old, but still played 400+ minutes and started three games.
