	Your starter will NEVER disobey you (unless traded), so you can level it as much as you like. All other Pokémon can disobey you, and I believe traded ones will do so more quickly.

	@laytruce: true, but traded pokemon go off of level AND love. So the more you battle with them, the more they obey, until they hit a certain level

	When I was 10 years old, I spent over two days running back and forth through Viridian Forest until my Pidgey reached level 40 (I mistakenly believed that it would learn Fly, and be super effective against Brock... by the time I learned of my mistake, the level difference was enough to get a win). In the subsequent decade, I have never once managed to replicate the patience that was required to pull of such a feat!

	@rychu_supadude, I was delusioned by the anime into thinking I could get my Pikachu in Pokemon Yellow to set off the sprinklers. Went in and was like, 'dude, where are the sprinklers? Where's the ceiling?'

	Because you need to find the Moon Stones to evolve Nidorina and Nidorino, the locations of which are after Pewter City, and you need to purchase a Thunder Stone from Celadon City Department Store to evolve Pikachu.
