You would think Santa Fe would be because it is in New Mexico, but you have to remember that it has an altitude over 2 km. Climate is comparable to Flagstaff, Arizona, which can get rather cold at nights and during the winter.

Something else that will blow your mind: Alaska and Hawaii have the same record high temperature.

You'd be surprised at how elevation affects average temperature. Albuquerque has an average temp of 56.8, which would barely put it on this quiz if it was a capital. Santa Fe's climate is comparable to Denver's.
