This is my first time doing one of these, so there are probably mistakes I didn't find.
Feb 16th, 2010 at 02:23 GMT
Oh and post if you got the $1,000,000. Don't lie, please. No one cares for liars.
Feb 16th, 2010 at 02:51 GMT
I got the million first time through. The quiz was fun as a rock fan, but to call it a music quiz suggests it's more all-encompassing than it is. Having two questions pertaining to Dave Grohl, two RHCP, and two Hendrix questions really isn't necessary. With that said, I did have fun.
Feb 16th, 2010 at 06:31 GMT
I thought the questions were good. Two things I thought of though. Just specify that you are looking for current RHCP members even though a fan would know that the three besides John Frusciante is not a current member. I think it would just make it less confusing. Also I feel like some of your questions are out of order. I thought that the Weezer question was easier than the Dave Grohl band question and that RHCP lyric question was easier than Woo hoo. Maybe that's just me. I really liked it though.

I got a million. Fortunately I am a big fan of the Chilis and the Jimi Hendrix Experience
Feb 16th, 2010 at 11:21 GMT
Wow! Glad to see so many plays! @YankeesBOND007; I chnaged the order around a little bit, now.
Feb 16th, 2010 at 12:01 GMT
And now I changed them back. I realized that I would have to re-do the entire letter combination just for those order changes, so it is back in order (I think)
Feb 16th, 2010 at 12:02 GMT
Oh, and did anyone use the lifeline yet?
Feb 16th, 2010 at 12:03 GMT
@JohnJF; There is only one Jimi Hendrix question, but he is a choice for another question. Same with Dave Grohl.
Feb 16th, 2010 at 13:41 GMT
Note; This has become my first quiz to get 1,000 plays! Thanks everyone!

I got the second question wrong. I did not know the first question either, but I got through by taking a lucky guess.
Feb 16th, 2010 at 15:41 GMT
By the way, can anyone tell me how to make an audio quiz? I'm dying to make one but I don't know how.
Feb 16th, 2010 at 16:57 GMT
Er, sudden difficulty change? I've 'heard' of Shinedown, but they are in no way near Blur, Nivana or the Foo Fighters in terms of fame... and well, actually I do know where 2 of the 3 of the above are from, but a lot of other big bands I wouldn't. Are Shinedown famous for being wherever they're from?
Feb 16th, 2010 at 17:10 GMT
No, I figured I'd throw a curveball in the middle, just to see fi you were paying attention. c(:
Feb 16th, 2010 at 19:38 GMT
i got the $1,000,000. the slipknot question has 2 answers labeled 10c.
Feb 16th, 2010 at 20:08 GMT
This might be nitpicky, but I would change the wording of the 1st question to "Who was..." instead of "Who is...".
Feb 16th, 2010 at 20:30 GMT
I found the Shinedown question to be a tad trickier than the rest that came after at. But I tried again and got to $500,000! So close!
Feb 16th, 2010 at 20:38 GMT
Is the creator of this game in the band Shinedown or something? Why else would you include two questions that make reference to such an obscure band? They are not even close to famous.
Feb 16th, 2010 at 21:06 GMT
Thanks for all the feedback, I have changed the $1,000 question (the one about where Shinedown is from) to another, easier one.
Feb 16th, 2010 at 22:16 GMT
I live in Michigan and Shinedown is pretty big here... they get played on the radio constantly... so I guess I just don't get why everyone is saying they're so obscure.

A couple of money amounts in the left-hand column are missing a zero ($500 and $750)
Feb 17th, 2010 at 14:40 GMT
Only got $100, but very clever.
Feb 17th, 2010 at 15:00 GMT
I got $1,000,000 but had to use the lifeline.
Feb 17th, 2010 at 15:16 GMT
YES! I got $1,000,000 without using the lifeline.
Feb 17th, 2010 at 21:25 GMT
Quiz is fundamentally sound but for "music trivia" you'd think there'd be more about bands that are not RHCP, Hendrix or Dave Grohl. Ever heard of a little outfit called Squirrel Nut Zippers? Who's standing up for them?
Feb 17th, 2010 at 21:38 GMT
1,000,000 the first time with no lifeline.

Note; after just 2.5 days, this already has over six THOUSAND plays, by far my most popular yet. It is also the most played over the last seven days.
Feb 18th, 2010 at 00:46 GMT
I have added something to the end, similar to what rockgolf tells winners of his millionaire games to post as proof that they won.

$1,000,000 the first time, no lifeline. My favourite band is The Beatles. :)
Feb 18th, 2010 at 13:00 GMT
Bromheads, the million $ was easy!
Feb 18th, 2010 at 16:04 GMT
I think it's a bit too easy if you're a rock fan. Like someone else said, if it's music trivia then it should cover many genres. Either that, or change the quiz title to Rock Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.

I have began making a sequel!

If this was really who wants to be a millionaire, you should make the D) answer be something unrelated, like Elephant or something.
