| Gotta agree that we're not "states," we're separate countries, and on a quiz about flags where both Wales and England have their national flags with these on, they should at least be alternative answers. The cross on the Maltese flag comes from when it used to be part of the British Empire, and is a direct reference to the English flag. The Welsh flag is white and green with a red dragon in the center. While I've got used to the separate countries being classed together on here, on a flag quiz it seems especially unnecessary.
Good idea for a quiz though - I didn't know nearly as many of these as I should have done. |
