| @musicnotes: Good idea for a game. I agree with both of Aaron_Kashtan's comments. Also: add common alternate spellings (e.g., Pyotr Ilyich). The issue of "commonly known as" vs. "birth names" may also come up (e.g. I believe Holst is more commonly known as Gustav Holst. If you include "von" you'll need to have alternate birth names for all of the composers you list, to be fair to the players). Some "game notes" would be useful, to clarify that BOTH names are REQUIRED when more than one precede the surname. That being said, thank you for creating the game. Speaking as the new "curator" for the Classical subcategory, it has potential, once adjusted, to be highlighted on that page. |
