The source I have linked lists individual State borders by length. You can then check any given State's total borders by adding the individual borders listed. Granted this is not the most convinient way to check the data but I am trying to create a unique quiz here on a topic which I think is challenging/interesting for people and that's the best data source I could find.

This is a solid quiz, but can you please add an extra answer slot for the mine so that we can get credit for the state with the most borders?

Please remove the two letter state codes. I tried to type in Missouri but I hit the mine for Michigan.

Where is Wisconsin? Its total internal borders measure over 1,170 miles in length. The source inaccurately lists its shared border length with Michigan as just 205.1 miles. However, this ignores the approximately 280 mile long border the states share in Lake Michigan, plus the the approximately 55 mile long border the states share in Lake Superior. Plus, the source inaccurately lists its shared border length with Minnesota as just 291.1 miles. This ignores the approximately 110 mile long border the states share in Lake Superior.

I would take out the postal code option, If typing in "Minnesota", it catches on Michigan. Just food for thought. Other than that, great quiz!

Ok, have removed State codes and added the extra slot. The source only counts land borders. I will add a note to clarify that point also.

I'd recommend removing the mines and lowering the time limit.

Is it possible to get a perfect score? I got all the states and only had the extra answer slot left giving me 25/26. I think you need to find another way of showing the mine somehow, otherwise nobody can get a perfect score (25/25). I'll give this quiz 4 stars once that's corrected.

@GreatScott, makes sense, I have made it so you get 26/26 if you don't hit the mine. @SomeoneRandom, I don't want to turn it into a typing speed challenge, which when there are only 50 possible answers it could easily become without mines.

Try typing it again (you'll set off a mine, but it is working)

This may be a temporary problem, but at this point, no wrong answers are triggering mines.
