| Well, you get an A for the concept. However, there are several things that you should fix. In case you are wondering, I did actually cross check this stuff with CDs, iTunes, the Annotated GD,etc, to make sure I wasn't the one in the wrong. Not trying to be mean, but constructive, to make the quiz more user friendly. I tried to put in most of these to no avail due to spelling errors or variations, and found it extremely frustrating.
-You spelled reuben wrong (there is no "I"), and it will not accept the correct spelling.
-You spelled Estimated wrong, ditto on the spelling.
-Both Sugar Magnolia and Sunshine Daydream you have listed as Sugar MagnoliaS and Sunshine DaydreamS. There is no "S" on either of them.
-PlayinG!! In the Band. Yes, there should be a "G", and you have it set so that the correct spelling is not accepted.
-Throwing Stones- see above.
-Peggy-O: While the folk song is generally known as Pretty Peggy-O, in my experience it is mostly just called Peggy-O when the dead do it. Maybe it is supposed to be obvious due to the fact that your abbreviation is PPO, but I just found it confusing. I'd accept both.
-Though technically the spelling is correct in BEW, Hunter has stated numerous times that that is a typo, and that it was always intended to be Women as opposed to Woman. I'd accept both.
-Iko Iko is the more common spelling for Aiko in many versions of the song, so again, you may want to consider accepting both.
-St. Stephen (rather than Saint) is generally what is printed on the cd- at least it is on Aoxomoxoa, the first release of the song. Again, accept both.
-This one is just a personal gripe- you abbreviated Cassidy to one letter, but omitted one of the most common GD abbreviations in TLEO? Really?!?!?
Hope the feedback helps.
Take care. |
