| According to the Ontario Genealogical Society Provincial Index, (http://www.ogs.on.ca/ogspi/e/eh.htm), the names "Ehler," "Ehnes," "Ehrhard," and "Ehrler" were commonplace surnames in the late 1800's. Yet over time, throughout Canada, they've lost popularity. One can only hope that the letters "Eh" begin to reappear with more frequency some day in conversation between the great people of Canada. |
