	This is a clever idea and I am impressed with its length! That being said, I am not sure it's very likely that people will be able to complete it in the given time. There are some unnecessary rungs you could remove that would shorten it a little. For example, you can get to the word for rung 123 sooner if you get rid of 121 and 122; however, I think that removes one of your semordnilap pair partners, so that might not work. Also, between rungs 145, 146 and 147 you change the same letter twice, so you could remove 146.

	@mrsmith: I've played, and enjoyed a lot of your previous giant ladders. Is there some reason you've set this one up in forced order? The nature of word ladders is that players often visually scan and work by sections, and are constantly going back to fill in missed-words. Having to manipulate the cursor is not much fun, unless there is a clear purpose for that.

	mrsmith, this is quite the piece of work. I assume that you probably enabled the forced order as a means to counteract the need to scroll. Sadly, I know from experience scrolling is an unavoidable pain when it comes to super long ladders, but I still think in most cases it's preferable to the forced order. I think shortening the ladder would help a lot and I can already see some transitions between themed words that could be abbreviated. I'm not always an advocate of using as few rungs as possible but in this case it would probably help. If you want some help feel free to email me, my address is on my profile.

	Thanks - couldn't decide between the advantage of not having forced order and that of being able to see the clue without scrolling. Will change it and see what people prefer.

	^ Much better!! And now that I've played it, that was just terrific. The hardest "doable" Word Ladder that I've played in ages. The semordnilap were absolutely essential (at least for me) in order to reinvest in some sections where I'd previously stalled. Now, I have another question (and maybe citkeane will weigh in again for this): Do you also really need the numbering? I understand their purpose for matching semordnilap, but astute players should be simply recognizing them by the asterisks (which definitely should be kept), and typing in their counterparts automatically, so I don't see any need to "verify" which of them are pairs. If you get one, you've gotten the other. Thus, if that makes sense, you can remove all the numbers and the quiz will be cleaner, and more readable. Finally, I do hope you realize that those of us voicing these ideas are doing so because we want to see your quiz succeed, and your extraordinary efforts to develop it be rewarded.

	Thanks again for the great comments. Advice always appreciated! Was torn about whether to number or not, given that semordnilap are not that easy to spot if you're not looking for them, but if the asterisks are enough, I'll tweak it again. Glad you've been liking the game anyway. Was very relaxing to put together - sort of like knitting!
