If you are going to leave the Thunder off the list because of the Sonics win in 1979 then you should also leave the Wizards off the list because of the Bullets win in 1978.

Yeah the Washington Wizards should not be on here, they won a championship in 1978 as the Bullets...and the Phoenix Suns SHOULD be on here because they haven't won one yet.

And you should add the Thunder to the list regardless. Part of the deal was that the Sonics history remained in Seattle. The history of the Thunder didn't start until 2008.

that's actually not true, the sonics history did go with the thunder.
