Malta, Iran, Iraq, Russia, Vietnam, Myanmar, India, Rwanda, Libya, Serbia, Latvia, Belgium, Syria, Ireland (why Iceland but not Ireland?), Gambia (unless it's The Gambia). I may be wrong in some of these, but I think the majority should be included.

I believe Cape Verde is 3 syllables. I also agree with the above comment on Malta, Iran, Iraq, Russia, and Belgium

Vietnam, myanmar, india, rwanda, libya, serbia, latvia, and syria are all 3 syllables. ireland is debatable depending on how it's pronounced, but I would consider it 3 syllables as well. Malta, Iran, Iraq, Russia, and Belgium should all be on here, however.

You're missing Russia, Belgium, Malta, Iran, Iraq, Maldives and Nauru. Ireland could be two or three depending on how it's pronounced. Laos could be be one or two. Cape "Ver"de" is definitely three syllables.

I apoligize for the few i missed. For the ones up there already, they all have only 2 syllables. Ive checked... @dancastro: After russia all those have 3 syllables. Trek222's comment goes for most people apparently. Just to let people know, its pronounced SAY-SHELL and cape-VURD. Not CAPE-VURD-A. Also know that Nauru is pronounced nah-OO-roo

Also @sporcalicious, that quiz you posted DOES have errors such as NAURU, so try not to be a smart ass by rubbing something in my face that is incorrect. It only shows your a moron who hasent proven your point

Some of these mentioned though should be bonuses based on alternative pronunciations. Laos can be 1, 1.5, or 2 syllables depending on how it is pronounced. Israel can be 2 or 3.

I've only heard it pronounced Cape Ver-de, 3 syllables. Some can argue Libya is 2, LIB-ya.

Amazing how many people can disagree on fundamental stuff like this. Apparently the 1st grade exercise of clapping through a word has been forgotten. That, or people just don't know the word to begin with. I blame Obama. j/k
