I really like this quiz!

Great quiz. My only other comment is that you might want to lessen the time somewhat, maybe to 3 minutes.

@Booger I'm not sure whether an average Sporcle user can complete this quiz in under 3 minutes. But it's only my personal view on that. I have reduced the time limit by one minute.

another minor suggestion: it's difficult to see the lines with the dark background color. I think the time is perfect at 3 minutes!

Shorten the time. When I ran out of obvious guesses, I just went alphabetically through the states and guessed their capitals. I finished with 48 seconds left.

Yes-shorten the time. With less of a time factor, this could be a nominated game.

Great idea, wish I'd thought of it. Still have a hard time thinking of Columbus as the largest city in Ohio.

Excellent quiz! I completely left Columbus out as a guess because logically, I couldn't justify it as larger than Cleveland, Cincinnati or even Akron. Time was good for me.

@mpsz-usually the average sporcle-user is very smart lol

oh, what happened! I expected this quiz to slowly fall into oblivion and suddenly it gets record-breaking attention. Thank you all for your kind words and suggestions. It looks like I have been overwhelmingly outvoted on time limit so I'm obviously going to change it to 3 minutes. I tried to look at it from the point of view of a Sporcle newbie, maybe non-American as well, but you reminded me that at the same time I was ruining the fun for Sporcle vets. As for the dark background, I usually pick a color related to the quiz and this one is the exact shade of blue taken from the American flag. I think it's not really a problematic thing as you can still see how many answers you have to guess.

I agree that the boxes are too dark. Not being able to see the boundaries between the boxes is bothersome. Other than that, good quiz.
