I see Mauritius, Madagascar, and Azerbaijan that you missed. Nice quiz. Also, you accept Ivory Coast for Cote d Ivoire, but do not accept East Timor for Timor Leste. If you accept Ivory Coast, then East Timor should be accepted as well.

The 'Y' rule is odd, considering the analogue quiz from just a couple days ago: http://www.sporcle.com/games/MtoTheWags/vowel_end_countries

if you're sure you've missed some then don't publish it until you know you haven't missed any.

@jmg...I do accept Ivory Coast, but only as a bonus. I have added East Timor as another bonus. @ Bloem...check the game notes. Where the y makes a clear "e" sound I deem it a vowel and thus it is not included. Germany is even one of the examples I give.

Great quiz, but this is wrong. "Y" is only a consonant (basically) when is is pronounced /j/ (as in "yellow" or "year") in terms of phonetics.

Y is still a consonant though no matter what sound it makes?? Countries that end in a Y irregardless still include Germany, Hungary, Italy etc... otherwise good quiz. Can't believe I missed Japan out of all the countries! (was 1 away)
