Good quiz, I would put space between songs though. Hard to type that fast.

Thanks, I know it goes quick, that's why I gave 5 minutes so you can go back and get the ones you missed.

Don't feel bad, chriskotx. I'm only 19, and I only got those 3, plus Coolio and Coldplay (neither of which I listen to regularly). Also, I was disappointed that "Amish Paradise" wasn't accepted lol

These clips seem unnecessarily short.

just a layout suggestion: make the 'time' columns thinner and the 'artist' column wider.

Proof that less is more! Love it!
On the Style page, reduce the time to 20% of width and split the other two fields 40%/40%.

the representation of different times in music was a little uneven... there were several songs that are still played on top 40 radio in a row.
Comment below threshold:

Wow, way to have no life on this, A) would you rather I put the time to the hundreth? B) who cares if they're still on top 40. You're a hater.

Why is "Last names acceptable"? Typing in the last word of a song shouldn't give you the answer...

You should accept 'I've got a woman' by Ray Charles for the Golddigger one, as the song is exactly the same in the first few seconds, and Ray did it first.

The lyrics are a little different, and it's not the same voice. I could make it extra credit though.

I think I worry my parents when I have random outbursts at sporcle quizzes. By the third song I yelled "Hang on a minute! You're going too fast!"

It's an entirely different song with a different riff. I'm sure many songs have the same chords but you should be able to tell by the sound and the guitar.

All this dang hip-hop sampling! You should accept Rapper's Delight for Gangsta's Paradise, it was done in 1979 and has the exact same bassline

I put in "How Bizarre" as a lark because it sounded like part of the song, but I didn't realize it was the opening. And I've heard "Over My Head" at work more times than anyone should have to, but I had no idea it started like that either.
