| too little time? (too much?)
should i force exact spelling of every word? (i simplified it so that you could enter present tense verbs for all past tense verbs.) i'll update the quiz as the comments and opinions come in. enjoy! |

| I don't know if it was divine intervention or the kinship of all living things but I tell you Jerry, at that moment, I was a marine biologist! |

| "What is that a Titleist?" Lol, great idea for a quiz. |

| "...the eye of the great fish!"
"Mammal."
"Whatever." |
Comment below threshold: show it | roseman: | Oct 11th, 2010 at 23:58 GMT | -15 points |
| It's 'storeys' not 'stories' |
 | montecarlo: | Oct 12th, 2010 at 00:15 GMT | 5 points |
| @roseman: sorry, i was unaware that we americans spell it differently from the brits. storeys has been added as an acceptable answer. |

| Diane: I got the Alumni magazine. Ya know what ever happened to your friend
George? I never see him in there.
Jerry: Well he's kind of modest.
Diane: He was always such a goof-off. I mean did he ever get anywhere?
Jerry: Sure.
Diane: Yeah? What field?
Jerry: Marine biology.
Diane: George is a marine biologist?!
Jerry: A pretty damn good one, too!
Diane: I can't believe it I mean I would never had thought..
Jerry: Yeah...he specializing in whales. He's working on lowering the
cholesterol level in whales...all that blubber-- quite unhealthy.
You know its the largest mammal on earth but as George says "they
don't have to be." |

| That's a classic television scene, and this will likely be a classic Sporcle quiz. Awesome. |

| While I didn't initially know this scene I had fun trying to figure out how the speech went, and was pleasantly surprised when halfway through I remembered that I've actually seen this episode and did much better than I expected! Top notch quiz. |

| Loved it! Such a great scene. Larry David says this was the scene that got the loudest laugh from the studio audience during the entire running of the show. I would use more exclamation points and fewer periods - especially when he says, 'I tell you he was 10 stories high if he was a foot!' Great idea! |
 | webmaestro2000: | Oct 14th, 2010 at 00:58 GMT | 7 points |
| agreed, great scene, great quiz idea. The only better monologue is Bookman the library cop's rant about Jerry not returning Tropic of Cancer. |
 | bevo19: | Oct 14th, 2010 at 17:32 GMT | 6 points |
| Classic show and classic scene. "Marine biologist? You know I always wanted to pretend I was an architect!" |

| @webmaestro2000: what about Kramer's monologue about his bus journey to the hospital to reunite the pinky toe with its annoying owner?
"They kept ringing the bell!" |

| Titleist?? |
 | torerodrizzle: | Oct 16th, 2010 at 00:44 GMT | 4 points |

| ronny_jubber, I was thinking the same thing, the pinky toe was my favorite, although of course this one was a classic as well. |

| BTW, it is a crime against man that with my user name I did not get 100%. I apologize to all Seinfeld fans. |
 | SoIsYourFace: | Oct 21st, 2010 at 12:46 GMT | 7 points |
| @ArtVandaley: Your user name is spelled wrong. The correct spelling is "Art Vandelay." |
 | ArtVandaley: | Oct 21st, 2010 at 19:46 GMT | 4 points |
| Actually, this has been my user name since I got on the internet in 1996 and the only time we ever see the spelling of Vandelay is the judges name in the final episode. In other words I picked this name well before there was any known spelling. |
