Agree with cantthinkofname. Buffalo has more people (population 261,310) than Fort Wayne (population 253,691), and contains two "f"s, so I don't see why he/she was voted down.

Irondequoit, New York, as a bonus for Q? San Juan, Puerto Rico, for J?

@zifyoip: I assume the quiz creator did not include San Juan because it is not in one of the 50 U.S. states. Puerto Rico is an unincorporated territory of the U.S. with a completely separate government.

You have some periods where commas should go. Also, "Washington, DC" needs a comma just like any other combination of a city and two-letter postal abbreviation.

@marpocky, I know how you feel about missing your own city. Currently sitting/living in the 4th least guessed city and it never even crossed my mind.

@EnglishGeek13: You'd be right if this quiz stated metro areas. But it doesn't and Columbus has like 300,000 more people than Miami...

This was fun. Once I ran out of ideas I went through looking for blanks with the same population and writing down the letters to try to figure out the city. Got a couple at the end that way.

Wow. I was surprised to find this quiz so hard for me, and I clicked give up only to realize the title says "U.S. cities." No wonder Tokyo, London, and others aren't there... Oops.

I can't imagine 1) creating this quiz, 2) verifying this quiz and 3) getting 100% on this quiz. Kudos to everyone for 1 & 2, and shame on me for 3, but in my defense, I haven't been in Azusa in years...

Ok, the ads on Sporcle have become REALLY annoying lately. When I clicked the button to begin this game, I got an commercial WITH AUDIO for cleaning products. The only way to close the ad was to exit the internet entirely and log in again to type this comment. PLEASE slow down with the ads already. Thanks.

118/130 pretty pleased with that, and I'm not a United Statesian. Could have been more but for the fact i was spelling San Fransisco. Not Francisco. Thought of Wichita but the people train don't go to wichita.
