I know this is confusing somewhat but i wanted to throw off cheaters. just answer each question and retype the answers when ur done so that it counts as 15/15. (and the quiz gets a play:)
Jan 7th, 2011 at 04:13 GMT
It started off really easy, and I assumed it would start to get harder, but it never did.
Jan 7th, 2011 at 12:02 GMT
ok sure u must be really knowledgeable. a couple of those questions are pretty hard, but good for u
Feb 4th, 2011 at 02:10 GMT
how does making people enter numbers and retype throw off cheaters? it just annoyed me...like the questions though
Feb 4th, 2011 at 02:35 GMT
the retyping make it so you can score yourself as opposed to just the quiz having one visible question and ending when you get anything wrong. the numbers make it so you can't keep guessing once you get one wrong
Feb 4th, 2011 at 02:36 GMT
i changed it to one question cause its unpopular the way it is

Hughie Jennings is baseball's all-time leader in HBP. Biggio is 2nd Also the Million Dollar question is one of the easiest questions on the quiz.
Feb 5th, 2011 at 14:17 GMT
ok will fix i thought i knew that but you're right. i dont think its that easy but obviously you're very good so good job

Ray chapman didn't actually die on the field...
Feb 5th, 2011 at 18:07 GMT
true, that's fixed

i like the quiz fine, although for a serious baseball fan, it's somewhat easy. however, i was amazed that the $32k question is about the all time leader in steals. i don't understand how that wasn't one of the first questions asked, since it is more well-known than most of the questions that preceded it.
Feb 5th, 2011 at 21:22 GMT
i know a lot of ppl who think its brock. this quiz is supposed to be somewhat doable for people who follow baseball somewhat and slightly challenging for serious fans, so it kinda achieves the goal then

Wow, I certainly expected a tougher million dollar question!
Feb 6th, 2011 at 04:16 GMT
Definitely very easy, for those aruging that casual baseball fans would find it challenging, usually people that put in the effort to take a trivia quiz on a subject are more often than not serious fans of it.
Feb 6th, 2011 at 12:05 GMT
ok, well thanks for the input. i had not made one of these before this, i will make sure to make it more difficult in the future
Feb 6th, 2011 at 17:36 GMT
Hughie Jennings is technically the all-time HBP leader, but precisely 24 of those HBPs came after 1901. The game was a very different thing in the 19th century. In fact, the first nine of those HBPs came while playing for the 1891 Louisville Colonels of the American Association (not even American League). Should that really count?

i didnt even realize that it was jennings until i was making this quiz, but with all the crticism saying its too easy, i'm not gonna change it
Feb 6th, 2011 at 23:45 GMT
Fun set up. I enjoyed this. And I admire your patient response to criticism!
Feb 7th, 2011 at 02:38 GMT
Thanks! I try my best as long as people aren't TOO nasty. it is gratifying to get some positive reviews once in a while though! I guess its the critics who write the most comments though...

$2,000. Pretty bad, but a good quiz
Feb 11th, 2011 at 08:07 GMT
First time through, I got tripped up on the win percentage question. Took the quiz again simply because everyone was saying how easy the million dollar question is. I WILL NOT be nice about this. For ANYONE with even mediocre knowledge about baseball history, that is just too easy a question. Hell, the win percentage question was 1000 times more difficult. If this was legit, and I was really winning a million dollars, I'd feel like I just stole candy from a baby.
Feb 11th, 2011 at 21:44 GMT
well as i have said before, i AM NOT changing it so whether you WILL BE nice or not does not matter to me

How about just typing a, b, c or d?
