Eli is above rivers because rivers is always on teams that find ways to lose, while eli (excepting 12/19/10) has found ways to win big games. @dhui: wallace and johnson was close for me; they are totally different types of wrs. austin had one great year, one good year, while moss has done it a while (small boost) and actually had more yards this year. jackson had very low YPC and i think thats most important. gore's injury drops him a little, and his stats even without it weren't great. freeney is great pass rusher and maybe most feared for that i just have never thought he was a full player. peppers though is also not great against the run, and some that were questioning his full time effort this year made me think twice about putting him at the top. winfield, after watching him destroy vick on tuesday nf in week 16, is still a great tackling corner, and that is just a very important thing to be able to do. @bengaldan: well, as ive said b4, its just my list. ngata actually is listed as DE. palmer does suck and i empathize, but his stats are too good this year to drop him off this list. ive always thought he sucked though. terrible decision making. |
