Please tell me how much time should be given, I have no idea what a good amount would be.

Fun quiz, but you need to accept "Johnson" for Lyndon B. Johnson. Otherwise, great job!
May 9th, 2010 at 21:52 GMT
Worth it even if only for the Arthur/muttonchops combo. :) Very nice historical knowledge showing in some of your clues, @miyomiyo1!

Oops! I seem to have forgotten to add Johnson as an acceptable answer. Fixed, thanks for pointing it out!

I can't believe Warren Gangsta Harding has more fans than Lyndon Johnson.
May 10th, 2010 at 23:26 GMT
You should change George Bush to George W Bush, but otherwise good quiz.

I thought the time was perfect. Great idea, very clever and funny. The fewer fans than for Nixon might be the greatest thing I've ever seen on Sporcle :)

I burst out laughing several times when I was taking this.

Very entertaining quiz - lovin' the "Fewer Fans Than" column. Kept finding myself trying to guess which president was the next "coolest". I think you could shorten this by a minute or 2.
Comment below threshold:

How is no one else confused about what this is supposed to mean???? Um, I'm pretty smart. You're saying these presidents have this many fans on Facebook? OK, I just realized the right column are just jokes, but they threw me off. And how does anybody guess these in order????? I guess by being the typical Sporcle cheats who take it 3 times to make themselves feel better.

After taking this quiz, I immediately became a fan of James Garfield on facebook so he wouldn't feel so left out

Great quiz! The third column is a good ad. Hilarious how Harry Truman has fewer fans than the boat named after him. Oh, and it seems that George W is not very popular.

I love how Jimmy Carter has less fans than peanuts, which he used to farm.
Aug 8th, 2010 at 05:35 GMT
nice choice of "Fewer Fans Than". John Adams was president but Samuel Adams makes beer. Facebook likes the later.

Am I the only one wondering why Fillmore is ranked so highly? I live in Buffalo, his old home town, and I am still amazed.
Oct 28th, 2010 at 00:49 GMT
@PopeCharming: For the same reason that history geeks like myself nerd-out over people like Roscoe Conkling, Wendell Willkie, and Maximilien Robespierre -- a kick-ass name will always get you a following. Millard Fillmore is America's lovable social underdog. Also, how could you not fall in love with the hair-wings? (http://www.independent.co.uk/multimedia/archive/00113/millard-fillmore_113845t.jpg) He's the only former president to look somewhat like a rubber ducky. Give ol' Milly-Filly a chance. :)

love the bush comment. top quiz, well done.

It's changed a bit recently. Bush actually has a lot of fans now. And, sadly, many more fans than The Guy Who Threw the Shoe at George Bush

I tried to type names of presidents around the world until I understood that you were looking for only US presidents. Please specify this, as non US people also are on Sporcle (and facebook).
