last names should work and you def shouldn't have to include middle initials! cool idea though

Last names do work, of course.

I find it interesting that just about everyone seems to have thought of the "start with presidents who share last names" strategy, but substantially fewer people have thought of the similar "start with Grover Cleveland" strategy.

I was just trying to go in order. Turns out I can't recall the presidents in order and type quickly at the same time. But now I really want to try again. very fun quiz!

I always did the main presidents quiz in order, and my best time on it is 52 seconds. Ever since Sporcle got user-created games I haven't been playing the old standards as much, so I was a bit rusty for this 60-second blitz. Curse you, user-created games! (Bless you, user-created games!)

Sweet! Got 'em all with 9 seconds to spare. :-D And I did 'em in order -- except for repeated names, that is.

Great game and a ton of fun- I know them all in order, and that makes it even more fun, really testing your skills as a typist.

LOL - went for the ones that get you more than one; then short ones ... but missed Adams from both lists :o) Love it. Got to get quicker - only managed 33 ... this time ...

Getting the ones with the same last name are key. You get more answers that way.

Never having gone to a normal school, I actually can't recite all the presidents by heart. Although I think I can name at least 90 percent. Was able to name 23 in a minute.

Ack! This is all about typing speed. I can recite them a lot faster than I can type them. Only missed 3 but that was all because of typing. Darn--gotta practice more, I guess.

This quiz tells me I really suck at typing. I typed last names only (from the distribution, apparently some people typed them out). I got all the four letter last names and all the duplicate last names. I ended up at 39th percentile. Very sad.

Usually, I would be upset at missing the most gotten answer (George Washington), but I'm glad in this case because that means I didn't waste as long typing his name as everyone else did.

To have Grover Cleveland on this quiz twice (nay, to call him the 22nd and 24th presidents) is reprehensible and just plain idiotic. Please click the up arrow in support of common sense and justice.

I'm so glad they added this quiz! When I play the classic president's quiz I keep trying to beat my time. I'm fortunate that I can name the presidents and type fast. I got them all in 51 seconds. I wonder if I can do better if I try again...

So were there two different presidents that just happened to share the name Grover Cleveland, or what? Saying that he is two different people is like saying George Washington and Barack Obama are the same person! You really should change this immediately.

@ Djibouti: Obama is barely a President, so you are excused for getting C.A. Arthur but not B.O.
