Temple should be a bonus answer since it was at one point a BCS Conference school.

It's a joke that the Big East is a BCS conference and the MWC is not!

Most surprised about Pitt. Didn't they appear in a BCS bowl game a few years ago even?

Pitt played in the 2005 Fiesta Bowl where they lost to Utah. They got in because they were the Big East Champions even though they were ranked #21 at the time of the game

Well, glad to see that the Big Bad SEC has the most entries on this list.

I think calling this quiz BCS "failures" is a bit off. UConn has only been in D1 since 2003, and has already been ranked as high as #16, has beaten a top 10 team, and has been to 3 bowls, winning 2 of them. They also had 4 players drafted in the first 2 rounds this year, only USC had more. I'd hardly call that a failure.

That was much easier after doing the top 15 quiz!

The Big East is pretty much irrelevant in the BCS. Not even sure why it's a BCS conference.

The state of North Carolina appears to be killing its own conference. Ouch!
