	Each of the Top 25 players listed in j_nasty_3000's fine "Most HRs at Yankee Stadium" quiz had spent significant time playing for the Bronx Bombers. I was inspired to compile this list of leading Yankee Stadium HR Hitters who NEVER PLAYED AS A YANKEE. I've provided the Number of HRs they hit there, the Years of their MLB Career, and the AL Teams for which they played 200+ games. Hall of Famers are denoted by asterisks. My research method was more brute-force than elegant, so I completely welcome your feedback. Hope you enjoy.

	Not surprisingly, the data indicates it helps to have played prior to expansion (22 of the 36 players did) and it helps to bat left-handed (24 lefties or switch-hitters). Interestingly, this endeavor yielded a list including some VERY obscure ball players who hit a disproportionate number of their HRs on the road at Yankee Stadium.

	Interesting quiz. One error, though: Jose Canseco did play 37 games for the Yankees in 2000 and hit two home runs at the Stadium as a Yankee.

	Thx BigFlax! I guess I was a bit flippant with the "et al". The guy literally has played for half the teams in the AL and I got lost in the churn. Thanks for the catch; I've made the correction.

	Crazy how Yankee fans and the media treat the two different Yankee Stadiums as if they're the same one. This quiz is a prime example of that ridiculous idea.

	@Wes_Mantooth: I'm not a media member or a Yankee fan, so help me out here...what are you talking about? They're both called Yankee Stadium, yes, but the Old Stadium is usually referred to as such when that's the one being talked about. Additionally, how is this quiz "a prime example of that ridiculous idea?" I don't even know what that means, to be honest, or how this quiz is an example of anything. Do tell.

	I'd be interested to see an extra column that listed how many games or ABs each guy had in Yankee Stadium. It's not surprising to see a lot of guys from Boston on here, since the division rivalry brings them to New York a lot. A player like George Brett, on the other hand, might have only played in New York 3-4 times a year.

	abner - re team order, I simply listed them in order of games played which, one might argue, would be there 'best known' teams. I have listed teams in sequence in other quizzes. Sorry for any confusion. Thanks for the comment.

	@MasterNachosII, I figured out one who makes this list who played for the Yankees but still hit 22 homers at Yankee Stadium when on the opposing team. Not sure I saw a caveat indicating "who never played for the Yankees ever" - and since Canseco's on the list, I'm guessing that's not the intention. I'll email the creator & let him/her know.

	Doesn't seem to be a way to contact the creator, so I'll put it here: there is one noticeable omission - a player who was very pivotal during his Yankee tenure who played for four other AL clubs, is a HOF player and, by my count from B-R.com, hit 22 home runs at Yankee Stadium while not a member of the Yankees. I wish there was a way to send you a note, but without writing who it is, I think all can figure it out. I was surprised he didn't make. Now I see another, a current Yankee, who has 14 at Yankee Stadium playing for two other clubs. Still, it's an interesting game & I'm not sure how you easily isolate non-Yankee homers for those who also played for them.

	jametz - per your other finds, I believe you're referring to Mr October & A-Rod. Nicely researched. I suppose I could have extended my parameters on this quiz to include their like, but chose not to for the sake of time. I do appreciate your research, comments, & interest in the quiz.
