It seems to me that you are off a year on the Super Bowls and/or Super Bowl MVPs. Steve Young didn't play in the 1994 game and Emmitt Smith didn't play in the 1993 game--they should be flipped. I'm not sure if that's all, but you might want to double check it all.

going by a lot of the sporcle quizzes you'd be right...but if you read the notes i've always considered the superbowl that was played in 1995 (january) to be the 1994 superbowl since that's when the season was played...so steve young played his SB in january 1995, but it was the 1994 nfl season...same with emmitt in 93 (though emmitt played in 93 either way)...

the coach list is pretty amazing. No Schottenheimer in the 90s with all those good KC teams (though he wins w/ SD in 04), no Marv Levy, no Shannahan, no Dungy. yet, lots of stiffs like Fontes, Rhodes, Capers, Fassel, Haslett, Jauron, and the Smiths.

@jae...i agree...i personally like the sporting news list better, but i think AP is more widely recognized...they give it to a guy who might only go 10-6 or so but does it without the talent that guys like dungy and shanny have had throughout their careers...

you should make it so you have to answer the questions in order. people can just guess random teams and get them right.

i thought about that and decided against it so to have people not have to type 'peyton manning' or even just 'manning' 7,000 times...i think that's far more annoying than getting high scores if people feel good about themselves guessing every team...

miles26: the way you describe the years is the same way the NFL does (or at least they did, not sure if they still do) in their media guide and other sources. The Saints were the 2009 super bowl champions...the game just happened to be in 2010. Love the quizzes, keep em coming.

I really hope Wayne Fontes gave his coach of the year trophy right to Barry Sanders within about five seconds of winning it.

agree with miles26 and madwriter. when people speak of the '85 bears or the '72 dolphins, those were the regular seasons. the bears won the superbowl in jan of '86, but no one ever calls them the '86 bears.

Wayne Fontes (aka Rasputin) actually popped into my head, but I simply chuckled without even giving him a shot. Oops!

I'm trying to make a quiz myself, how do you get all these different columns and headings? The wording on the instructions for making a quiz are a bit confusing.

Dude, that's a lot of typing for what little time you give us. First names? Really? I admit there's a difference between Eli and Peyton, but do we really need to look up how to spell LT's first name even if we know it off the top of our head?

And, I'm sure we know where these teams are located. It's a little excessive on the time consumption, too.
