	As mentioned in the extra info, these are the top 25 college football teams by AVERAGE RANKING in the AP poll. I also only took teams with a minimum 250 appearances in the poll to eliminate tons of time on my end and teams like Randolph Field (#4.80) and Iowa Pre-Flight (#6.28) from making this quiz impossible. I was going to add conferences but felt that would be too easy.. all the teams anyways are BCS caliber teams save the obvious independent. Let me know any errors! I think it's a pretty interesting list.

	i have a hard time believing michigan state is #11 on average. did you factor in weeks where teams were unranked?

	@PerryAhn, the way I understand it.. Michigan State has been ranked in the AP poll 308 weeks.. while in the AP poll their average position as been at #11.49. None of the teams take into account their time spent outside the Top 25.. the list is an average ranking per each team while in the AP 25 with a minimum of 250 weeks in the AP Top 25.

	If you don't take into account the weeks the teams aren't ranked, it's not their average ranking.

	@robertloggia16 .. Sure it does.. it's their average ranking ONCE IN THE TOP 25 with a min. of 250 weeks. It doesn't take into account time spent outside of the top 25..as there is no value for the numbers 26-117 or whatever. This is simply an average of the values 1-25 of teams that have been ranked in the AP Top 25 at a min of 250 weeks.

	@jumbodung - Do you think there is too much time? I thought 2:00 was a good limit since all the teams are of BCS level teams and easily guessed with too much time. I wanted to put some challenge into the quiz versus it being another easy guess as many teams as you can kind of thing

	I think Robert's point is that if a team was lousy for many years, like Miami, that wouldn't hurt their overall ranking as long as they'd been in the polls 250 times. That's how Miami is ahead of teams like Texas and Alabama.

	The time is good. The fact that you don't have enough time to get it means you don't know it. Any more time and it would, like mikep said, degrade into a "name well-known/successful college football programs" list.

	I like the quiz as it is. My one suggestion would be, if you have the time to figure it out, try to recalculate the rankings and give the teams a value of "26" when they're not ranked at all. If I'm understanding your formula right, as it is right now, "Team A" could hypothetically be ranked #1 for 250 weeks, then be ranked #2 for 250 weeks, and their average ranking would be #1.5. Whereas "Team B" could be ranked #1 for 250 weeks, and then not ranked at all for 250 weeks, and they would still have an average of #1. In that scenario, Team A has obviously outperformed Team B, but the average wouldn't show it. If you give Team B a ranking of 26 for ever week they aren't in the top 25, then Team A's average rank is still #1.5 and Team B's would be #13.5. That's obviously an extreme scenario/hypothetical though. Just something to think about. Otherwise, really good quiz.

	Also, I'll miss Nebraska-Oklahoma games. But they haven't quite been the same since the Big 8 became the Big 12. Hopefully Nebraska-Iowa will be just as good.

	"i have a hard time believing michigan state is #11 on average." You ought to learn how to count, because they're 18th on this list, and many teams' average ranking when in the poll is 11th. I'm not sure you understand what the information in this quiz means. Besides that, Michigan State, while a mediocrity to me (I'm an Irish fan), is certainly not an implausible inclusion among the top 20 all-time programs.

	And LucasEwalt, that would be fine, except it would not be this quiz. This quiz is open about the information in it, and it doesn't claim to be any more useful than it is. What I think is significant, however, is that even limited as the information is, look how neatly they line up. So perhaps it's more useful and accurate, as it is, than you suspect.
