| Looking at the ESPN page, they didn't consider triathlon, motorcycle racing, car racing, or modern pentathlon. Motor sports require great skill and endurance and concentration (except perhaps drag racing), but I would think motorcycles require additional physical strength. Equestrianism/three-day eventing is far more challenging than they think, both in terms of skill and risk of death. Polo also requires a great deal of skill (you are riding a horse while hitting a ball), but maybe less effort. It's hard to argue with ice hockey, but American football, depending on your position, requires a few minutes effort and lots of sitting/standing/shouting. And steer wrestling isn't even a sport, you may as well include bullfighting. But thank you for the quiz and the debating opportunities. |
