@acpdancer - some of the drinks may be obscure depending on where you are from, but based on the results, over 50% of people taking the quiz knew all but three of the drinks.

You should accept "RC" or "Royal Crown" for RC Cola. You accept "Coke" and "Pepsi" instead of their full names, after all...

Cool quiz, I felt special for getting Surge and then looked and saw that most were getting it. Never heard of Grape Nehi, but then it may not be where I'm from.

Surprising how many people haven't heard of Grape Nehi. I'm originally from Illinois, where I can distinctly recall it being sold, but it could be that the drink is... outdated, shall we say. Maybe it would be like seeing "Slice" on here?

Never heard of Grape Nehi (boston). Were there other kinds of Nehi? Or was it just grape?

There were several flavors of Nehi -- check it out on Wikipedia. It was big in the middle of the 20th century. I first heard of it watching M*A*S*H -- Radar liked grape Nehi. (Or maybe it was orange? but I think grape.) Btw, Nehi sounds like knee high.

interesting that 1,2,4,15,16,18,22 and 23 never made it to the UK, and you can only get Mountain Dew in a couple of places

I remember Surge. That was the big drink when I was in elementary school. It was supposed to give you the best "buzz" or whatever 10-year-olds were looking for in their soft drinks :)

Added Royal Crown and Diet Mtn Dew. And yes, Grape Nehi was made famous by Radar on the TV show M*A*S*H.

I believe a soft drink is defined as a non-alcoholic beverage, usually containing water and a flavoring agent. Most often carbonated, it doesn't need to be. Red Bull and Yoohoo fit that description. Nehi's Chero cola was reformulated and the name was changed to Royal Crown in the 50s. Nehi is now owned by Dr Pepper but they don't appear to be marketing it. Seems like they bought it out so Nehi flavors wouldn't compete with their own.

Grape Nehi might be the best fruit-flavored pop out there. Also, Yoohoo is not a soft drink. It's just skim chocolate milk. And why don't you accept RC?

Nehi (most common flavor out now is Peach Nehi) is a product of the Dr Pepper/Snapple Company. You find it more in the South than the North. ClintT13: Yoohoo IS a soft drink. It actually contains very little milk, which is why it doesn't have to be refrigerated. Have you every had it? It tastes nothing like chocolate milk. And, for the people who live in states like Alabama and Mississippi, you should accept "Coke" for every answer. =)

@Monstiere81 Love the Mississippi reference, except where I live the only root beer is Barq's. It was created and bottled in Biloxi, and in fact I live near the Barq's Bldg. We call all other sodas cold drinks.
