That image from 'The Day After Tomorrow' is from the flood scene, not any of the snow scenes. I was also going to tell you that you spelled Santa Claus wrong, but I made sure to do my research before commenting. I had never realized it was a pun!

That may be the flood scene in TDAT, but its flooding snow and ice encrusted streets. I don't see any snow in that picture from Runaway Train though.

Perhaps it's the snow on the top of the train car and the stark whiteness on either side. Quite a bit of snow, really.
