North Korea is a bit of surprise. Imagine the elevator waiting lines in some of these countries.

Why is Europe so flat? Even Oceania managed at least 1. (the majority of Russia is Asian). Also, is it just me or does everyone else also guess Marilyn Monroe after North and South Korea? (Because of the Billy Joel song)

North Korea would be that 100-story Ryungyong (or however you spell it) Hotel that resumed construction after like a 20-year wait.

Remember the tallest building is not necessarily the one with the most floors - 3 countries should be added to this list: Thailand has Baiyoke Tower II with 85 floors; Singapore has Swissôtel The Stamford at 73 floors and Marina Bay Tower at 70 floors; Panama has Ocean Two at 73 floors - it is suspect to include North Korea because its sole building fitting this criteria, the Ryugyong Hotel, is under construction and the convention is not to include a building for height statistics until it is finished (perhaps make it a bonus) - if you are looking for a source to add try the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitats (http://www.ctbuh.org) and SkyscaperPage.com which has an option to sort buildings by a number of criteria including floor count (http://skyscraperpage.com/diagrams)

Saudi Arabia have Abraj Al-Bait Towers in Mecca and has 95 floors and Thailand have Baiyoke Tower II in Bangkok and has 85 floors and Kuwait have Al Hamra Tower in Kuwait City and has 77 floors and Vietnam have Landmark 72 in Hanoi which has 72 floors and finally Panama have Trump Ocean Club in Panama City which has 70 floors. Fun Fact:North Korea's Ryugyong (Yukyung) Hotel is still under construction since 1987-1992,2008-present.

Not quite yet, but the Shard tower in London will have 72 floors when it's finished next year, so the UK will need adding to the list too.
