| You need to do some reading on what is a carnivore. As a general term, it includes all animals who rely on meat for survival, including carnivorous birds such as eagles and owls, carnivorous reptile and lizards like alligators and snakes, and fish such as sharks. You've also missed out on carnivorous marsupials, flying mammals such as bats, and aquatic mammals such as dolphins and porpoises.
Even if you just take the Order Carnivora, you've still missed out on all the pinnepeds - walruses, sea lions and seals. And your grouping of the animals isn't truly based on a phylogenetic classification, as you've listed for example, the family Felidae (cat), but then included several different genuses. |
