	quite a few inaccuracies here: hatrick should be spelt hat trick or hat-trick indirect free kicks are not awarded to less serious fouls, the nature of the fouls are just different, "kicks cannot be scored directly from" might be a better description offside is a difficult concept to sum up in a few words, which you got wrong there, offside position might be a better one to try extra time is a tie breaker played when the game ends in a draw, not for injuries also, qualifiers and linesman should be accepted, and watch out for typos and spelling mistakes other than that, not a bad quiz actually

	i've never heard of the goal line being called the endline. other than that, it seems fairly sound.

	what the blue hell is a 'wall pass?' Its called a 'one-two' in football. Maybe in soccer its a wall pass, but nobody plays soccer in the rest of the world, we play football. And as for 'end line...' Good idea for a quiz though

	@corbyjenks: yeah i live in america and played soccer for 10 years and even i dont call it a wall pass. its always been called a give-and-go to my knowledge and that includes the english trainers ive worked with.

	Ok lots of things: Cross should be accepted Break should be accepted What the **** is a wall pass - that's a description of a one two Likewise for end line - never once heard that term used zonal marking should be accepted through ball should be accepted Good idea, but I get the impression you're American, not English/

	seriously, who the hell calls it a "wall pass" or a "through pass"?? anyone who plays the game refers to it as a one-two or give-and-go and it is almost always referred to as a "through ball." the description of an indirect free kick is way off. why not have the clue say "the resulting re-start when a goalkeeper handles an intentional backpass from the foot of his own teammate?" also, not all passes in the air are chips. a chip is a softly played ball that is struck at a high trajectory to clear another player.

	"Officials assisting the referee" are these days known as Assistant Referees. I prefer linesman, but technically it's Assistant Referee. Not sure how often the word receiver is used - perhaps make use of the red card here. Don't know where you got end line from and it is zonal defence not zone. Think most people would shield the ball rather than screen it - footballs aren't the type of balls that need screening for cancer. It most definitely is a through ball and not a through pass, thankfully "wallpass" has already been extensively done - never heard of it. Apart from all of that, not too bad!

	yes, I'm afraid I'm with all the others who have commented so far. Many, many bizarre terms given as the answers which simply do not exist in football played in the English-speaking world outside of the USA! Endline - ridiculous, it's called the goal line in ALL English-speaking countries, other than the USA obviously. Zone defense- again a wholly American term. It is called 'zonal marking' in England, and the other form of defending at a corner/free kick is caled man-for-man marking. A wall pass is hardly ever used anymore, except possibly in obscure training manuals- as everyone has already said, it's known as a one-two. An interesting idea for a quiz but sadly bombed spectacularly due to lack of A basic grasp of the English- speaking football world outside of the US.

	People need to stop "speaking for the rest of the English-speaking world", while it may be a poor quiz, commentators are injecting UK terms into this, not necessarily world terms For instance corbyjenks says, "but nobody plays soccer in the rest of the world, we play football," but the term soccer is used, often alongside football, in Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Canada & the USA (in other words every major English-speaking country that plays more than one kind of football) so stop "speaking for the rest of the English-speaking world," when you're really just talking about the UK

	I've watched the Premier League every week for 15 years and I've not once heard an announcer say Unsportsmanlike conduct. Unsporting behaviour yes but never unsportman like conduct.

	Lots of mistakes and weird terms, most already mentioned. And these aren't really American terms as far as I know, either, they're just some strange, obscure way of putting things.
