I would love a couple more minutes!

You need to fix a few things. For example, typing "Batman" gets you Batman Returns, but not Batman Begins. Also, the fact that you don't require the whole title on some answers ("Star Wars" & "Jurassic Park" & "Toy Story" get you multiple answers) leads people to believe they don't need to type full titles. For example, when I typed "Robin Hood" and got no answer, I assumed it wasn't on the list, but in fact, I would've got it if I typed "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves".

I've seen almost all of these movies and yet I somehow only managed to guess 30. What.

It's a little prohibitive, not allowing "Star Wars" or even "Star Wars Episode 1" for that clue. Even the most hardcore Sporclers don't like having to type in an entire obnoxious title...

Dr. Dolittle should really be acepted for Doctor Dolittle. And I agree about the Star Wars title.

Seems strange that Jurassic Park 2 triggers The Lost World and Die Hard 3 triggers Die Hard: With a Vengeance, but typing in Star Wars Phantom Menace doesn't trigger it.

Seriously? You have to type out the entire Austin Powers title? I could see that if the sequels were also released in the 90s but it's the only one on this quiz.

I tried to focus on Disney and certain actors -- Hanks, Carrey, Cruise, Williams, Roberts, Schwarzenegger. You can get a lot that way, but I still missed several just from this group. Knowing Oscar winners helps a bit too. Fun to play and frustrating to see the ones you missed -- the mark of a great quiz in my book.

I'm stunned Braveheart didn't crack the top 10.

It didn't accept "There is something about Mary" - boo :(

@chriswbennett: the quiz accepts "Austin Powers 2" as well as the full title

Godzilla was a shot in the dark for me. I had no idea that film that commercially successful
Aug 29th, 2012 at 02:41 GMT
Braveheart made something like 95 million, just under the 100 mark for top 10. Godzilla was commercially successful. That doesn't mean its good! Simply the year and the amount of money it made is a tough way to guess for a quiz! Maybe an actor or director or plot would make it too easy? Seems like there should be SOME kind of info to add....

I really thought Austin Powers and Ace Venture would do, even if they were parts of series.

Some minor title entry disappointment, as noted by others above. But my biggest takeaway (aside from the "I can't believe I forgot that" headslaps) was that I got just 28/100 and STILL managed the 74th percentile! This quiz was tougher than your average bear. Perhaps because of those title entry issues....

1993 was an excellent year. Other than Cliffhanger (which I actually liked), all of those movies were very well made and include some of my all-time favorites.

The Naked Gun 2 1? Got published?
Aug 30th, 2012 at 21:38 GMT
Apparently Pokémon: The First Movie made $163 million, but I suppose it doesn't count here because its release was spread out over both 1998 and 1999 across different countries.

Can't believe I missed TMNT

The Top Grossing Movies of the 80s quiz is much more lenient with titles. Going from that quiz to this one was a shock because of that.

Robin Williams and Tom Hanks ruled the roost in the 90's with 7 movies each in here. Julia Roberts was right behind with 6.
