But seriously, wilfy? While these sports may not have as widespread popularity as association football, these leagues (and therefore, teams) are incredibly popular. Consider that these are 4 of the top 5 leagues in the World in total attendance (and the 2nd is Japan's baseball league, which shows that only North America likes baseball) and that the NFL draws over 26,000 fans more to each game than the closest association football league, the Bundesliga (and nearly twice as many as the EPL). Even the MLB draws within 4,000 fans per game as the EPL and that's across a 162 game season. These leagues, and their sports are hardly insignificant, crawl out of your box and realize there's a World out there outside the tiny corner you live in. |
