I cannot believe Lou Piniella is not on this list.

Yeah, it's surprising because he has the 4th most career ejections amongst active managers...but he's slowed way down in recent history (especially since joining the Cubs in '07, he's only had a few...)

Actually: http://tiny.cc/Lou831 It was big news when he was ejected this July for the first time in a full calendar year!

Don't forget that a lot of these guys - Torre and Francona, especially - get tossed a lot because of beanball incidents.

Surprised Gardenhire isn't number one. He loves to argue with the umps!

Nobody can compete with Bobby Cox. Most ejected manager ever. Not that he ever had much to complain about with that huge strike zone Maddux and Glavine got.

Very fun quiz. I too, as a lifelong Reds fan, was surprised not to see Lou on here. Lou, Bobby Cox and Gardenhire were the first three I thought of.

I legit want to hear what Charlie Manuel says and how he says it when he gets ejected.

Also, weird that all of these managers were on or are on teams that are pretty good.. Braves, Twins, Phils, Yanks, Sox (x2), Angels, Rays, Cards. Correlation?

the correlation is that they have kept their jobs the longest because they and their teams are good. however, there is also something to said about managers who have balls and stick up for their players. case in point, willie "vag-face" randolph.
