Koskie, Radke, Jose Valentin, and Kelvim Escobar are on his list, but NOT Alfonso Soriano, Jason Bay,etc... I also chuckled when I saw Adrian Beltre ahead of David Wright and Miguel Cabrera. This guy should be fired immediately.

It's a good thing Bobby Grich didn't play in the 00s, knowing how much Rob loves Grich. If anyone is interested in more Neyer picks, I made quizzes on his All Time NL (http://www.sporcle.com/games/FastEddie/NL_ALL) and All Time AL (http://www.sporcle.com/games/FastEddie/AL_ALL) All Star teams.

This is also one of those games where you get pissed off at the end when you see the ones that you missed (Ortiz, Clemens, Helton...)

Cliff Floyd? Really? That guy is one cut above Trot Nixon. Especially considering Luis Gonzalez and Jason Bay didn't make the list. No John Smoltz?

Ummm, no Justin Morneau or Ryan Howard? If his reasoning is that they only played part of the decade, then he needs to remove half these players. Mike Cameron was the 36th best player of the decade, but Howard doesn't even belong on the list. Sure thing, Rob Neyer.

Mike Cameron had 334 more runs than howard, 532 more hits, 120 more rbi, 198 more sb's and only one less hr. That is why he he is on the list and not howard. Beltre also had more hits, runs, rbi and hr's than Cabrera and Wright in the decade. Soriano should be on this list though

Over 5 additional seasons, I would expect Cameron to have accumulated much more than that. With stolen bases being an obvious outlier, Howard's average runs, hits, RBIs, and HR's per season blow away Cameron's. Anyone who looked at these two players side-by-side in the 2000's & chose Cameron over Howard is being ridiculous. It's the equivalent of Mr. Burns pinch-hitting for Daryl Strawberry with Homer because he wants to avoid a lefty-vs-lefty scenario.
