	@coelho4187...really makes you understand why a lot of people want them to get a shot at the big boys. its not that they just did it one or two years...but 4 out of 6. and they did take out Oklahoma a few years ago in a BCS bowl.

	another interesting tidbit, these teams have a combined winning record in their bowl games...6-3 (obviously minus the games yet to be played this year)

	There should be a mention that these are regular-season records. The 2007 team got clobbered in its bowl game. There's still a stain in the middle of the Superdome turf from that one.

	There's also a stain in Tempe from what 2004 did to Pitt. Have a playoff! You'll still make money. It's not like Citi, Allstate, or Tostitos wouldn't sponsor a round of playoffs. Too many men in funny colored jackets make money from college football.

	It should be clarified that "undefeated" refers to the regular season only. Boise State went 12-0 in 2008 but then lost the bowl game against TCU.

	its an absolute crock that TCU and Boise are playing each other in the BCS....you can clearly see how the BCS didnt want one of their "Big Six" conferences getting waxed by TCU or Boise

	@celtic_fc: TCU would blow out any other non-championship game BCS team but Florida. However, I highly doubt Boise State would. They came close to losing to Tulsa, who finished 5-7. They also had a close game with Louisiana Tech (4-8).

	yeah boise needs to man up with its non-conference schedule. but i agree there should be a playoff. it's really a mystery why they won't do it, everyone says it's about the money but there's no way a playoff wouldn't bring in as much or more money than the BCS. i agree w/ @celtic_fc though, boise and tcu in the fiesta bowl is BS. though to be honest it's really not fair either way. if they were playing a big name program it still wouldn't really be a chance for them to prove anything. as a Bama fan i can tell u that nobody last year was excited about playing Utah in the sugar bowl. for them it was a huge deal, but for us it was a disappointment since we almost went to the NC game. i'm not making excuses, i'm just saying it's really not that surprising when a Utah or a Boise State beats an Alabama or an Oklahoma in these bowls because it's a bigger deal to them.

	Boise tries to schedule strong non-conference games. It's just that nobody has the balls to actually agree to a home-and-home except for Oregon, apparently.

	@BamaGuy: I believe the Rose Bowl has a lot to do with it. Neither the Pac Ten nor the Big Ten want to give up an annual, specific BCS bid when it makes them so much money (not to mention the Big Ten would get waxed in a playoff IMO)

	Sorry Boise, but if you wanna play in the national championship, you gotta play more teams. It was a good start to play Oregon twice, but they need to schedule some powerhouses.

	Wasn't Oregon ranked # 1 or 2 at the end of the season in the early 2000s, but wasn't picked to play in the national championship game?

	@Geo_Crazy, that was 2001. Looks like Oregon they finished the year ranked #2...but they were 10-1 in the regular season losing to Stanford.

	Only 2 of these schools... Auburn and Cincinnati... are from BCS Conferences. Everyone else is in the 'Non-AQ.'
