I've replaced words in common movie titles with synonyms. The goal is to name the actual movie title based on the synonymous title. For instance, if the clue were 'Large'...the answer would be the 1980's Tom Hanks movie 'Big'. If you enjoy this quiz, please provide positive feedback and I will consider sequels.

Twelve Angry Men now accepted. Thanks for the feedback. In regards to the antonym game, I think doing synonyms made this a bit easier to come up with and hopefully find synonyms that would garner less criticism. Using a thesaurus also helped. Really, the hardest part of this was finding movie titles that didn't reference specific people or places.

Good job! I love quizzes like this, which is why I made two awhile back, one for movies and one for tv shows. I have some more lists ready to go, I just haven't had time to put them up. So if you liked this quiz check these out too. http://www.sporcle.com/games/FearTheManatee/alternative_movie_titles. http://www.sporcle.com/games/FearTheManatee/alternative_tv_titles.

"Sweltry" is a word?? And "cognizance" is a synonym for "mind?"

Cool idea, but if I may make a recommendation, some of the clues could be a little snappier. Some ("Appealing in Rose") are just a little boring and others ("Knives of Distinction") rely upon synonyms of homophones rather than synonyms of the actual words themselves (i.e., knives is a synonym for the other type of blades rather than for the blades found on skates).

not that great. looks like you were just using a thesaurus to replace each word individually instead of considering what the titles mean as a whole.
