| during college, some of us did research over the summer. we were bored to tears and had to get out of town. however, the longest we had was a weekend. so we planned a non-stop roadtrip from richmond, va, to mount rushmore, leaving friday 5pm and hopefully returning monday 9am. to make it interesting, we decided to try to see as many mlb stadiums and state capitals along the way, and the st louis arch on the return. anyways, because of this trip, 10 years later i am able to answer that pierre is 33 miles off of the interstate, because i remember being shaken awake at 3am and told to look out the window at its capitol dome. |
