Specify "Biggest city" in the county and you might just have something here.

Some of these are fairly common names for counties. For example, there's a Wayne County in WA, NY, NE, PA, OH, IA. There's a Jackson County in OR, MS, MI, MO, TX. Franklin Co in OH, VA, PA, MO. Etc.

Yeah...I would specify which state the county is in to account for the possibility that it maybe a common county name.

I did think about that, but I felt adding the state would make this a bit too easy, as I only included major cities and for many of the answers the city is one of the only major cities in its state. maybe i should list populations for the cities? or I could just simply add alternate answers as people list them.

I don't think you need to include the state, but adding the population would probably make it specific enough.

population has been added. I also edited the description to clarify its looking for 'major' US cities. if there are any other major cities (say population >100,000) that work for some of these, please post them here and I will include them as alternates.

Duval, Franklin and Jackson are just too widespread and general. Although Fulton and Clark are borderline, Atlanta and Las Vegas are big enough relatively that it's not quite so vague.

Fun quiz just as it is. Maybe reduce the time allowed by two minutes.
