A very nice quiz but a few of the clues contain parts of the words they are cluing, like the one about giants, for example.
I would love to see fewer "esque" words on here because that's a common suffix just meaning "in the style of." You could easily make a sequel of this because there are so many other good words like: applique, macaque, barbeque, barque, bezique, cheque, claque, Dubuque, Martinique, masque, Mozambique, Monegasque, odalisque, Remarque, toque, Veronique, and well, I like Rubenesque because it has a much broader definition. |
