This is since the Premiership began in the 92/93 season. Only teams that have played in the premier league are included in the incorrect answers. Times they've been 10th or above in 3rd column. Thanks

Why would you make it end with a wrong answer? And why did the top answer which I had entered disappear when I put in a wrong answer?

@Britney because if it doesn't end with a wrong answer it just becomes another quiz where you can type every Premier League team and eventually get all the answers right. This way it requires some thought and knowledge. It's a good quiz!

It is indeed a good quiz - surprisingly tricky as well. Scratching my head on the few I missed...

That's exactly right Pistol. I was equally surprised by how many times some teams had finished in the top 10 as well! Thanks both, glad you enjoyed.

@Pistol that doesn't explain why the top answer disappears when you get an answer wrong, though. :S

Does it matter? Think this quiz works well as a minefield, nice one.

Should of read the rules before playing this one, lost on 14 and didn't even get the chance to type in Spurs, West Ham and a few others just because I didn't realise it was a minefield. My fault I guess. :P

Hi. I think it's because there's no empty box at the top. I assume most know the top answer and get it right so I don't think it affects the quiz much - tho I guess I owe you a point if you hit a wrong answer later on. It's definitely best to put the ones you're sure of in before any guesses. Thanks Bravo.

No point in this being a minefield. If anything, the mines spoil it.

@manonthemoon: If you want to keep it as a minefield that is fine as it works in a minefield format, but you should probably add 'minefield' to the title and tags so people know what they are getting themselves into. A lot of people don't like the format and many others will not read the instructions fully. Also just add a dummy answer above Manchester United so that people who don't finish aren't robbed of an answer. It only takes a minute and will also make the results page reflect what people know better. Just add a new row before Man Utd, type Mine in the Hint column and something like No Mines Hit/Manchester United/Liverpool/Arsenal/Chelsea in the answer column so it shows up when people get one of the top answers.

Hi bazmerelda, thanks for constructive comments. I have dealt with the changes you suggested. I'm not sure what I've to do to make the 'mine' row work at the top though. Do I put in all the right and wrong answers after the Mine clue at the top? Or put something in the 3rd column? I tried it with just GOOD/manutd/liverpool etc but then the wrong answers didn't come up when typed in. Would appreciate any help, thanks.

I think that might mean you already have 'Mine' listed in the hint column for your bonus answers. As long as your first answer for your first column is different to anything else you have in the first column it should work. Try what you had again with 'Mine:' or 'Mines' instead, or even try just putting a space after it. Don't put anything in the third column. Only include your top few answers as alternatives for the dummy answer (there is a character limit of 255 for any answer so you won't be able to have all teams set the dummy answer off).

poor Coventry, top-half finisher in 93/94 - but alas, there were 22 teams in the Premier League back then. now a Championship team getting cursed at by Sporclers who could've sworn they broke into the top 10 in one of those many years in the top-flight, surely...

I know.. there's a couple of teams you would have thought must have made it into the top 10 at some point. The way things are going they may only be in the top 10 of League 1 next year!

One oddity: Man United(spit!) are currently showing as only being guessed 20.7%? Huh?!

Yeah, there was a change in the 'mine' system a while ago. I'm sure they've been the most got - love em or loathe em.
