How about _ BRA_ _ _ _ BRA (magic spell)? Great name - this should get lots of attention. Also very good quiz which deserves lots of attention. I think the 'Crossing' clue was my favourite.

Thank you. It's funny you should say that. I had it in then took it out because it's length meant that it didn't fit right. I'll try adjusting the sizes again to include it.

Nice that some obvious ones were omitted (Brazil, Bran, Brain, Celebrate). Check was tough, as it has many alternate meanings. And I think of an embrace as more of a hug than a kiss.

Thanks caramba. I left some out for that reason. I may well have included celebrate but I never thought of it!. I've added hug, thanks.

You're probably best just to search engine the 2 words together worryrock. I knew it could be a tricky clue for some but doing that should hopefully explain it. Thanks too, JamesS.

I kept typing brazzaville for the capital, when there was something far closer to home for me...

not that I want it to be an answer, ^ before anyone points out, I did realise that I needed an extra letter for that to be an acceptable answer

I too tried Brazzaville (and Brasilia) before finding the correct capital.

Nice quiz. I think a better clue for Braille would be "tactile writing". "Digital" could mean "created with the fingers" or "electronic", which covers just about every kind of writing.

Great quiz, but the plural of bra is bras, not bra's.

Great job, great title, and great first comment, manonthemoon. Now, will you follow-up this game with one based on the "Bro", or the more difficult "Manzier"? (Either way, definitely not a picture game please...).

I just learnt that brandy was burnt wine. That's for all those people that tell me I'm wasting my time on Sporcle. Although...I have to admit it's not the most amazing fact I've learnt today.

Brandy comes from the Dutch word "Brandewijn", meaning Burnt Wine :)

Zebra is a UK term for road crossing markings(along with Pelican and Puffin). In the US, zebra (as slang) more commonly refers to a sports umpire/referee.

"Umbra" seems like it could fit the "crossing" clue.

Typed in Brazzaville 3 times before I realized it was off by one letter. For some reason my brain could only associate that with a long capital that starts with BRA.

Zebra had the worst clue ever. Also, I was disappointed Brazil, and Brasilia (the capital of Brazil) weren't on this quiz. B+

Nice quiz! Just to some of the posters.. just because a word has bra in it does not mean it should have been in the quiz..

Took me a while to figure out why "Brazzaville" wasn't working. I figured I spelled it wrong, until I finally counted all the letters. Oops.

Not a fan of the kiss/hug clue for embrace. A kiss alone is not an embrace nor is a hug alone not an embrace
