	French Guiana is not an overseas territory; it is an integral part of the French state with a status equal to any part of mainland France. You would do better to simply swap Brazil for another country with nine borders. (DRC is a good bet.)

	I agree about French Guiana. It's as much a part of France as any part of the mainland. It would be like saying that the USA's border with the Yukon didn't count because Alaska's not one of the contiguous states.

	I agree with demonstah and NYCub. But I think manonthemoon doesn't want any overlapping countries, and DRC's neighbors would overlap with Chad's. You could change Chad to India though, then there would not be overlap with DRC (which replaces Brazil). The only overlap would be Burma, which you can solve by changing Thailand to Colombia.
