The fact that Kurt Cobain was my age made the results unpleasant. Ouch! Good quiz, though.

Great great quiz! The concept and the interesting pairings really scored. Nominated!

Fun quiz! I think you have Beethoven and Mozart on the wrong sides for the dates you gave though.

Why is "94" the only year in two digits? Is there some special meaning behind that?

In the order of question I got, the first two were by a margin of less than a year. I quit in annoyance, but I kept going and it got better.

Couple of tough ones in there. I can't believe I got the Einstein-Palin one wrong - if they had been alive at the same time his intelligence combined with her lack there of would have made the universe unsustainable.

Considering that Mozart was originally commissioned to be Beethoven's teacher, I should hope he wasn't dead before Beethoven's birth. Though that might make for an interesting zombie musical...

Wow, the Michelangelo/Shakespeare one is absolutely brutal, even if you've got a good handle one when each of them lived.

For a quiz where you have a 50-50 shot st each question, I managed to get exactly half.

Did this person die (music) before this person was born (Justin Bieber)? Actually it was the same day.

"Were they ever alive at the same time" would be a better way to phrase it (but flips yes/no).

Okay, this was probably my worst performance ever on Sporcle - not in percentages or similar, but getting 30% on a quiz where educated guesswork automatically should put you above 50%... okay, it's also bad luck on the guesses, but... *hangs head in shame*

Were the Einstein-Palin and Gandhi-Romney pairings a sophomoric attempt at political commentary?

never heard of Rebecca Black either. Anyhow, quiz was fun, but I struggled with getting the question right. about 1/2 dozen times in my head Im doing the math and saying to my self, "Yes" but I thinkit was "yes" to the wrong question (born first). Oh well....

This format is OK but I was left wondering why add a question with both the guys dying or being born in the same year. I happened to actually know that Michelangelo died in the same year that Shakespeare was born and still got it wrong! There should be some room left in between the dates so that the player can do some thinking and not resort to guessing when he knows the both years asked.
