^ Regardless of on what basis this quiz is organized, it "could have" been made with some other combination of Beatles material. Including the singles is a reasonable idea. But then people will say "why didn't you include other albums?" Then, if the quiz was redone to include both of the above, there would be a call for Anthology materials, then other unreleased material.
By setting parameters for the quiz, the focus remains on fairly well-known primary recordings. Beatles experts should be patting themselves on the back for NOT entering the singles, because it is a reflection of their expertise. And it's a good "Huh... Well whaddya know?" or "Oh yeah..." moment otherwise, I think. |
