Good quiz, but the amount of time makes it a typing challenge as much as a quiz, add a minute please.

Good quiz. Personally I think the time is about right. I'm not from the US but got 'em all with 5 seconds to spare.

Not bad, but I have a couple of questions. First, why is TXS first, when everything else goes by # of letters increasing? Second, why not just include all 50 states? 30 of the 50 seems kind of incomplete.

Wow - thanks Sporcle. In the last two weeks I've had a birthday, became an uncle and had a quiz published on Sporcle! I'm so happy and grateful. @Pogues - thanks a lot. @ DaDude - It would have been worse if you had tried Ohiowa for the HW! :D

By the title I kind of thought we'd have to list all the states that don't have vowels in their names, which would also be a pretty solid quiz to publish today.

Is it considered cheating to start with the second column? I found it a lot easier with that many letters available.

A little more time would be nice - as a Brit, names of states aren't as instinctive for me as they are for most Americans, so it was taking a little while longer to think of 'em. Frantic typing towards the end + a little trouble with spelling meant I missed some I would've gotten
