| Very good idea. All quizzes I had seen before were English-other language or other language-English. Some corrections should be made, however. A better title could be Italian-German words. Some nouns appear with articles, other ones without them. Il sole (the sun) is die Sonne, not Some. Scorrere (to run, to flow) is a verb, I think it should be translated as fliessen. For insegnante (teacher) both Lehrer and Lehrerin should be accepted, as no gender is specified. Il mondo (the world) is die Welt, der Mund is the mouth. For testa (head) the usual word is Kopf. Buchhandler has two h's (Buch+Handler). For Tasten/Sentire al tatto the languages are reversed. If you can't type the umlauts (e.g. hören), you can use the alternate spelling (hoeren). But the idea for the quiz is good. It's useful when crossing the Brennerpass (Italy-Austria) or the Sankt Gotthard (Italian/German Switzerland). |
