the lion seems to get accepted for the Lion the Witch and the wardrobe. No need for the taglines since you should just look at the pictures.

Great quiz, but I really did not need to be reminded of Buffalo '66, which is the single worst film I've ever seen.

Sprout's probably right about the taglines--I got #8, #13, #14, #22, and #23 by using them, which for a picture-ID quiz may be too many. I also think "Dogma" is cheating a little, since all of the other movies actually have an animal name as a full word; and there are plenty of other good options ("Silence of the Lambs" comes to mind).

Thanks for your suggestions. I wasn't sure if the quiz was gonna be too hard without some sort of clue as I purposely tried not to pick obvious titles that people would just guess because of animals i.e. Silence of the Lambs, The Lion King etc. Anyone else agree that I should remove the taglines?

Ummm.... Buffalo '66 is *tremendous*. Perhaps you all are confusing it with "Brown Bunny," Vincent Gallo's other animal-titled film, which *is* god-awful. Yeah, you should lose the taglines, IMHO.

"Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" is from 2000, not 2003. And I don't understand why it's accepted when you haven't even finished typing it. Not necessary.

five of my all time favorites here Raging Bull, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Reservoir Dogs, Groundhog Day and The Deer Hunter. Surprised at the omission of Planet of the Apes; perhaps a sequel could be made.

@MovieDynamic: You're entirely correct. I saw that film at the Vancouver International Film Festival in 2000. And there is no reason not to require the full title; it's not like we're pressed for time.

Yeah, a sequel would be nice: Butterfly Effect, Princess and the Frog, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Squid and the Whale, All Dogs Go to Heaven, Iron Monkey, Rabbit-Proof Fence, Batman and Robin, White Chicks (if you think of "chicks" with the animal meaning), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Grave of the Fireflies...

The image reffering to "The Crow" is from the second movie "The Crow: City of Angels". But besides that - good quiz. :)

More people guessed Coyote Ugly than Teen Wolf?!?!?! That's just a shame. In the immortal words of Coach Bobby Finstock: "There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body."

I saw the picture of Mr. Merrick and immediately thought, "I am not an animal! I am a human being! I am a man!" Extra awesome inclusion. Thank you for having one of my favorite movies in here. Consequently, I love that Nurse Ratched is the home page icon for the quiz. I saw "Animal Movies" and before realizing it referenced titles, I though "Yeah, she *was* a righteous hell beast in that movie."

Also, not that this should be on the quiz or anything, but I'd just like to mention that Rodney Dangerfield's "Ladybugs" is a surprisingly funny, truly underrated movie. RIP Rodney.

I thought the Sinbad movie was, perhaps, "The Lion in Winter".
